"Temple House Vanishing" is a good debut story; with an intriguing question posed at the beginning, you follow a back story to find out what happened.
I found the beginning a little slow after the mystery had opened, however the location and descriptions of the school were a good introduction to the rest of the story.
Louisa is quite relatable, using the opportunity of a new school, new classes and new people to reinvent herself; something most of us have done at some point. Victoria and Mr Lavelle are an interesting pair from the beginning, and following the whole story raises more questions.
Definitely worth a read if you like a bit of a mystery and nostalgia for the nineties as well!
