I loved the idea behind this book. It seemed quite original to me and not like anything I’d read before. The perspective of the journalist was an excellent and somewhat different approach to discovering the truth behind the old mystery which I loved. Makes a nice change from the usual tired, experienced detective investigating!! The relationship between Mr Lavelle, Victoria and Louisa seemed genuine and contrasted nicely with the strict rule of the school. I also really liked the way this was written. The sentences were well crafted and thought out and I liked the different character voices that were used. It was really gripping and I felt fully absorbed into the Temple House school & mystery behind the disappearance.
