I thought this was such a great story, I loved it. I can't believe that this is the first novel by author Rachel Donohue I thought it was brilliantly written and I can't wait to see what she produces next. This story is based around a creepy catholic all girls boarding school when there is a mystery surrounding the disappearance of a male teacher and a female pupil in 1990 and the mystery is being looked into by a journalist and a former pupil from Temple House in 2015. Even after all this time everyone has an opinion and assumptions on what they thought happened and I was having to guess myself what happened all the way to the end of the book. I loved the descriptions and the atmosphere that Rachel the author creates and I liked how she looked into social classes and religion from this time. I was turning the pages so quickly although this was not a fast pace plot it did keep me engaged till the end.
