This is a very dramatic and dark story about a girl called Louisa who is sent to the Temple boarding school, where she makes a friend called Victoria. All is well with the two girls until the appearance of a third character, a Mr. Lavelle who is introduced to us as the art teacher.
The tree slowly fall into a love triangle but as it usually happens, love cannot be shared so Louisa and the teacher run away together.
After a long time a journalists investigated this story and we find out some really distressing things, this book can have triggers for violence so be mindful of that.
All in all it was an easy book to read, difficult to put down and really adequate for those who love a mystery thriller.
