I was not sure initially if I would enjoy this book, but as they say you should never judge a book by its cover. I really liked how the author introduced us to the characters. I was drawn in to the sisters story and felt myself feeling a lot of empathy for Delia and the animosity her mother and sister had towards her. I felt excited for Delia getting the opportunity for freedom and new opportunities in America, yet at the same time I am anxious as we all know what happens to the Titanic. I want to know what happens next and if the sisters will reconcile.
