I am thankful to Read First because it has caused me to branch out and try books that I wouldn't have even thought about trying to read before. The writing style of this book reminded me of 'A Ration Book Childhood', which I enjoyed. This book is set in the time of Titanic sailing and follows 2 sisters on their onward journey to America. I am curious to read the rest of the book to see what happens to the sisters in the end. It gives you a good taste for the characters and how they think, allowing you to feel that you are getting to know them.
