This is a simple read for someone who likes an interesting story. It is well written and easy to follow. I have to admit, when I started the book I read a few pages and forgot about it. I picked it up the other day and finished it in two days. As I read on, I got more and more captivated by the story - It pulls you in and the ending does not disappoint! I like how it is set in different locations; Ireland, Texas, and New York. It gives you a glimse into the culture and lifestyle of different countries in the 1900s. I also like the way the characters develop - Delia and Nora both are completely different by the end of the book in a positive way. And I like how the book inspires you to push harder to achieve your goals in the face of difficulty and tragedy. In summary, Titanic sisters offered a little bit of everything; drama, romance, female empowerment, and hope for a better future.
