A beautifully written novel about two sisters given an opportunity to travel on the Titanic to a new life in America, escaping their poverty ridden farming life. One sister is set for glory with a rich family, while the other only finds a maids position. But after disaster strikes, there is a mix up which works in one sisters favour. This novel keeps you guessing, pulls on your heartstrings and brings up every other emotion you could possibly think of. A story of family, bereavement, pride, betrayel and honour, this is definitely one you will not want to put back down.
