I enjoyed this story set in the early 1900's about 2 sisters from Ireland who want more from their lives than living poor on a small farm. Nora who is the favourite of the family receives news that she has been offered a job in America to be a Governess to a rich cousin but her sister Delia wants to go too and so a job is found for her too but a lower status job is found for her. To get to America both sisters have to travel on the Titanic. tragedy strikes when the Titanic sinks and the lives of these 2 sisters changes and their roles reverse. I liked the inclusion of the Titanic storyline and wished there was more of it. I liked the character development of the sisters and I enjoyed that the story was written from both perspectives. I was intrigued by the story from beginning to end and look forward to reading more from this author.
