It was good
At first, i tried reading the book, only to keep putting it down. For me, it took me a few chapters to really get into this book, but it was worth it. We follow Delia and Nora on their journey, each separate. It did get a bit confusing in some parts as i kept forgetting about the POV change. The writing was beautiful and it really gave me a glimpse into the past. I love the whole Northern Ireland setting as it is different from most books i have read. Historical fiction isn't one of my favourite genre's, but this book was so well written that i gave it a chance. Granted, it takes a while to get into it, but when you've understood the setting, characters and the plot, the book flows easily.
I was expecting it to be more action packed as i thought it would be a lot like the titanic, but sadly i wasn't pleased.
overall, i gave it a 3 star as the plot was good but not as action packed as i would have liked it to be.
