This is the story of Delia and Nora Sweeney, two sister's who live on a farm in
rural Ireland with their parents. The girls's mother receives a letter from America asking for Nora to be sent to be a Governess and look after a wealthy man's daughter. Delia also wants to go and escape the life she lives with her mother who makes it clear she prefers Nora to her.
They both board the titanic and set sail for New York, but on the final night of their journey the titanic sinks and the sister's get separated. They both think the other is dead. Delia takes Nora's place as Governess, Nora is saved and goes on a journey to reunite with her sister.

Its a lovely easy read and i really enjoyed it. I really liked both characters and the journey's they both go on through the story, but i think i preferred Delia's point of view. The chapters are separated into Delia's story then Nora's and switch between the both.
The story flowed from page to page and made it so easy to read.
