It's 1911 both Nora and Delia Sweeney have a great chance to leave Donegal to travel to America on the Titanic for great job opportunities and leaving there parents behind on their farm. The sisters have not got a close bond at all they are both so different in manners and characters. But when they both board the Titanic and disaster strikes it and sinks it out at sea in the dark. Then Delia is devastated when she sees Nora falls from a lifeboat and thinks she is dead and has drowned. Then when Delia reaches New York she takes Noras job offer after a misunderstanding. This book is so heartwarming, with loads of twists and turns. It's a very great book to read and i couldn't put it down!!!!!!!
