I like the honesty of the writing. I find it rare that a vetinarian actually researches the animals that they treat, so when i find one, i stick to them like glue.
The facts and opinions in the book are entertaining and engaging. Being an animal lover myself, (And a reptile and invertebrate hobbyist) I adored the excerpt I read.
His thoughts and feelings towards clients are also notable, it's really nice to see this honest point of view. Often people don't realise that not all vets are experts at every animal (obviously!)
I hope the author continues to write engaging tales, and it would be nice to have a book purely on reptiles as these have grown in popularity as a pet recently (again).
