This book is an absolute pleasure to read .I am a huge animal fan and I urge anyone who shares this interest to give this novel a browse . The book is packed with fascinating facts and antidotes at the end of each chapter along with link ups to animal conservation societies. Jonathan Cranston shows his absolute passion and pride in his job and this is conveyed throughout the chapters. I loved the personal photos of his travelling experiences and the mixture of the laugh out loud bits with donkeys and cows or the wipe a tear from your eye at the rhino hunters in South Africa . I am not usually a fan of non fiction but this book is an animal treasure trove and ideal for any budding veterinary.
