I have only read a few chapters of the book and I am already addicted to this storyline. I was sucked into the story quickly and really like Martha and the way the narration flows in the book. I love how she feels the emotions and memories of those around her and that each material makes her feel something different. I love the atmosphere the book gave me too - it really keeps you feeling intense with a dark mysterious feel running through it all. I am very much interested in continuing this book and finding out what journey Martha goes on. Knowing that Mormor was dead from the summary made the first few chapters even more chilling as the reader knows what Martha is about to face but can't do anything to stop her journey. I also really loved the description of Martha's blindness in one of her eyes and how the author doesn't shy away from this disability. All in all, a very good start to a book that I would very much like to finish!!
