I was drawn to this book by the cover but the story line was really intriguing. It struck straight away as a type of Red Riding Hood tale where the young girl goes to visit her grandmother but finds danger instead. I was also very interested in finding out what significance the young boy in the grandmothers house plays. I really love a good gothic mystery so this book seems to tick all the right boxes including the book cover
