I was expecting good things from this book, just based on the cover alone, and it seems I am not to be disappointed. There is a genuine sense of tension built up around the return to Mormor's house which is compounded by our Heroine's inability to speak the local language. Not too sure about the thriller element that is promised but the supernatural one definitely has legs.
