I enjoyed reading this book and it was a perfect spooky book for Halloween. I loved the setting of this book, a cabin in the middle of nowhere in Norway and in Winter. Its the perfect setting for a scary story. I liked the Norse mythology aspect to this book and the family heritage and also the breaking of heritage, sometimes traditions are broken. I was however a bit confused about the whole reading people's emotions through clothes. I don't really see what the point of that was. It also addressed some big issues like divorce, disability, death in family.

Overall an enjoyable and creepy read. Wasn't really for me and I would never have bought it myself but didn't dislike it. There was good and bad points but still enjoyed it and read it fairly quickly.
