This is a must read book for everybody, full of mystery and suspense. Written beautifully and very atmospheric it is a book impossible to put down. The idea that the protagonist can learn about a person by touching their clothes is intriguing and from the beginning of the tale it marks her out as unusual and special. Making the journey all the way to her grandmother's house on her own with the disability of her blindness, draws the reader in with empathy, and the discovery of Mormor's death adds to the sympathy felt for her.
