I loved this book so much, so much that I read it all in 3 hours on a camping trip! This book is everything you want from a young adult fantasy: it’s dark and mysterious, there’s a bit of romance involved, and it’ll leave you creeped out. This book definitely made me fall more in love with Scandinavia, as I found the Norse mythology really interesting. The creatures mentioned are something I’ve never seen before in a fantasy so it’s really refreshing. Definitely a fantasy for a matured audience as it’s slightly more grisly or frightening. The characters were also really interesting and not your average pair...Definitely would recommend for a quick out of this world read! Five stars from me!
