I was desperate to read The Twisted Tree by Rachel Burge after reading the phenomenal blurb. After months of waiting, I finally purchased the book and finished reading it the same day. Because I have been extremely eager to read it for a long while, I had quiet high expectations and luckily I was not disappointed.
It was not as creepy as I expected but it was still very well written and extremely exciting. Martha was a very interesting protagonist and I thought that the inclusion of Norse mythology was very good.
Although it was rather short, I really loved it and am desperately hoping for a sequel because I really need to read more!
The cover is also incredibly stunning and I thought it fitted the story very well!
