I really enjoyed the first impression of this book. My current obsession is YA Fantasy and this ticked the boxes if not more. I love the Nordic touches and also the dark horror vibes. This is a book I will purchase and carry on reading for definite.
The writing style is unique and flows beautifully which I always find important as I don't like paragraphs and sentences that jump all over the place and this writing style really immerses you into the story. Most YA can seem a little cliche lately but this had a unique spin and interesting plot and the characters are interesting. Also not going to lie the cover is stunning and drew me in from the start. I think this will be a must read for YA fans.
