Whilst this wasn't the most memorable book I have ever read, I did enjoy the imagery and Norse mythology themes throughout the book. The characters were well developed and intriguing, and the writing style flowed well.
This would be a fantastic book to read on a cold winter's night with the curtains drawn. It's atmospheric tone enables the reader to get truly lost in it's pages and find escape from the outside world. With regular cliffhanger moments and a slow, creeping plot, it is a book that easily draws you in and keeps you wanting more.
