Loved the book cover design, it was very evocative of the books title.

The narrative was very well written and the story flowed quickly and smoothly which was very enjoyable, often authors style makes reading slow going. The preview (28 pages) was enough to make me feel I need to read what happens to Martha.

I thought that empath’s had a hard enough time by sensing other people’s feelings and emotions but to have others life’s thrust at you via clothing contact would be a really invasive thing to endure. So I’m intrigued to read how the principal character in this novel and the author deal with this.

Such mystery and suspense achieved in the first couple of chapters is a clear indication of the authors ability to speak to and engaged their readership. Looking forward to reading the rest of this, my interest has been piqued and I’m loving it.

Just finished reading the book so I’ll update my review.

Loved the vocabulary and writing style. Easy to read, well paced, enough intrigue to encourage the reader to become engaged with the main characters. Liked the Norse mythology and the family traits that were passed on through the matriarchal line. Hoping that this storyline might be expanded upon - there is scope for this.

Enjoyed the story and look forward to reading other novels by this author.
