The prologue somewhat baffled me however I’m sure it’s relevance will become apparent as the story progresses. I had to read the first few pages of chapter one carefully to take them in but a few pages in and I found the writing flowed smoothly. The detective looks like he could be an interesting character, look forward to finding out more about him
