There were a lot of characters in this story, so it was a little hard to remember who you were paying attention to this time. However, it was generally quite enjoyable. It was well-written, at a reasonable pace, there were enough facts to keep people interested but not a bombardment of too much information.
The cover is appealing - it shows the bleakness of the landscape. Although, as the book is supposed to be set in summer it perhaps isn't all that representative. It does however show that it is clearly a crime novel, set in a different country.
It was definitely a story that I would want to read more of and find out what happened next for each of the characters as well as who the murder victim was.
