Scandi-noir is a genre which has an immediate appeal and this story appears to offer a twist on the theme. I like the idea of combining history and legend with a present day crime and my first impression is that the author has created enough mystery for me to believe that he has written a story which will capture my imagination - and maybe expand my historical knowledge!
