If the story does not grip me within first few chapters I do not carry in, with this book the beginning I felt was telling you more of the historical things about the places in stead of getting to grips with the characters. I carried on reading to see if it got better and it started to introduce the characters alongside using names and places from the native Iceland and unfortunately I got confused and eventually gave up at about 100 pages due to not being able to recall who was who.
To be honest not sure if this is the book or that I am losing interest in this genre as have been reading this genre for a long time but am sorry to say that I couldn’t continue with this book.
