This book gripped me pretty much immediately and set the scene for the story incredibly well as far as I can tell. Both of the timelines interest me immensely and I have a feeling that the dual narrative will add a lot to this sure to be spooky story. I don't read a lot of horror but this definitely seemed like it would be a promising example of the sort of scary story that I'd enjoy. It was atmospheric and creepy, the unease leaping off of the pages. I love that one of the individuals in the 'Now' timeline doesn't know the history of the farm and is a non believer of the supernatural; that's something that I think will definitely add to the story. I have a lot of questions already too - such as why Bee and Loo call their parents by their names? As well as the obvious question of what happened there. And the end of the 'First Look'? Wow! It's definitely one that left me wanting more. I need to know what happens next!
