The book opens in 1976, when the sisters living in the house first have the sensation that their home is shared with an unseen force. Moving on to present day, and three students are staying overnight in the house, so they can run an experiment. They are there with technical equipment and cameras to see if any thing abnormal materialises, which would either prove or disprove the reason that they are there.
I was sorry when the first impression came to an end, as I was soon into the story and found it quite gripping and right up my street. A definite read for me.
