To be honest I didn't think too much of the cover as I find actual images/photos of people to be off-putting and distracting - I feel it doesn't let the reader gauge their own impression of the imagery for the story. That being said, the blurb interested me and I do love a good horror/psychological thriller with spooky vibes. The first impression gives just the right amount of intrigue, with a brief background passage from the past, and a first chapter (based in the present) which launches you straight into the story. Definitely want to read this one!
