I feel attracted to this novel because of the history and the secrets. Families often have skeletons in their closets so to speak, more often than not painful memories one must work hard to over come or even to face.
I can relate to the lies and deceit that come with keeling things from others. It can pull life apart and make it feel,impossible to rebuild your life.
