The cover shows a girl Wearing on old fashion style dress with her hair in braids makes you think that the book is set in the 1970s. However the book is set in two time periods the 1970s and 2019 which interested me a lot as there is not many books like that.
Bee and Loo are sisters and are trying on clothes from the 70s and older as their trying on camisoles and they don’t know who they belong to as the owner is only known as the girl. The girls seem to be scared of their mother as they fear that she will take the clothes away and only call her Cathy and call their father joe.
The present nia and her boyfriend had moved in to the house and are just placing items inside until nia is on the stars upstairs and hears a knocking sound.
