The prologue enticed me in first. Deliciously creepy and atmospheric with little sister Loo quite controlled by older sister Bee. Loo begins to introduce us to a whole array of other characters but before we can learn about them, something very strange happens to her skin. No! You think. Don’t leave me hanging there! But the body of the book doesn’t disappoint either. We fast forward 40 years and meet three university students ‘ghost hunting’ in a house that we presume to be Bee and Loo’s. The authors descriptive powers are such that I quickly felt chilly and a little nervous. The next cliff hanger, where the first look ended produced and even bigger “Nooooo you can’t stop it there!!” From me.
