Atmospheric, creepy and overall a great read!
This is a book that wonderfully atmospheric and creepy haunted house story that pulled me in and didn’t want to let go.
The atmosphere was creepy and perfect for reading about a haunted house. The writing was beautiful and it painted a great picture and I could imagine everything really well.
I loved the haunted house theme with the mysterious bruises, strange noises and possession that happens to the girls and the family. I also enjoyed the investigators and the theme of family throughout the book.
The main character Lucy was great and I liked how she revealed what happened in the past. I enjoyed the reveals. I also enjoyed how the chapters changed from the past to the present until they alighted.
