I absolutely loved this book. I was gripped from the opening chapter and couldn’t put it down.
It isn’t normally the kind of book I would have picked up but I am glad I got the opportunity to read it.
I instantly felt Lucy’s worry and concern about the house and the troubles she felt. The way the author connected with every day ghost like ‘trickery’ such as objects moving that could be explained or the shock from seeing an image in a window pane but it’s just a reflection got my heart racing every time because I could relate.
The only negative I can say is that I hated the character Bee. She was selfish and manipulative. Albeit a believable character I didn’t come to love her nature but it doesn’t hinder the story telling in anyway.
If I didn’t already believe in the paranormal I certainly would do after reading this book. It isn’t a book I will forget in a hurry. Great story.
