The story focuses on Loo and Bee who live with their parents and siblings in a small cottage, isolated and made fun of by the locals. The chapters are told from the point of view of multiple characters and are between 1976, when Loo and Bee were children to the present day where Loo, now Lucy, is an adult and her mother Cathy lives in a care home suffering from dementia.
I thought the story was great I loved the two siblings and the storyline. The novel was very gripping from the first page to the last. This book was also very captivating. It was a very intriguing and creepy read it gave me chills and I loved it. I loved the cover and the title.
In conclusion I loved this book and and the way it was written.
