Wasn't sure I was going to enjoy this after reading the description, I'll be honest. Yet after reading the first couple of chapters, I'm hooked. I feel this book will leave you with bitter sweet tears.
The main character, Billy, becomes one you are rooting for, to succeed, to be happy. It's refreshing to see a book where a man is the main character and is being portrayed as emotional, sensitive and open. I think it's great to give this view of men in general, as well as to be able to relate to him despite your gender.
The cover is inviting and I feel we'll learn more about those wellies on the front as we follow Billy's journey.
