I really liked the idea of this book and when I read the first impression of this on Readers First I gave it four stars because I enjoyed the first look at this story.
However, when I read the whole book I realised that this book wasn't for me. It wasn't that it was a bad book because it wasn't. It was well-written and the idea of Billy as a main character was good.
I like that it was dealing with obesity and suicide. I can see how it could be relatable to some people who had been through similar experiences with either weight loss or the loss of a child.
I'm gutted that I didn't love this book as much as I wanted to. I can also see how people would like this story but it just wasn't the right book for me.
