This is the beauty of Holly Black’s writing, two chapters in and I’m crying out for more! I’ve been waiting for this story all year, to hear how Jude and Carden will manage to rule together and face the deceptions and dastardly deeds of Faerie Court. The illustrations are beautiful and please tell that cover means we’re getting some merfolk appearances!
