Firstly, I love the illustrations at the start of the chapters as it gives nice faerie vibes. The start of the book is really fast and we are already starting to guess what might happen in the rest of the book!
Right away we are given nice descriptive details of the land and some of the creatures you come across. Cardan and his wicked ways as the cogs in his head start turning and Jude as always, sneaking around and scheming her way through the first few chapters.
I can't wait to start reading this!
