Intriguing Start to the Second Book of the Series...
After having read 'The Cruel Prince', I was eagerly awaiting the sequel. And here it is. From the extract, I can tell that Cardan is worse than before - he tugs and tugs against the leash of Jude's bargain, and now, with Locke's promise of a little more fun, we are guaranteed to see the two of them get up to no good.
And I am hoping to see a little more friendship again between Cardan and Jude, that's for sure!
The cover is absolutely beautiful! I'm already in love with it, especially the way the crown is falling into the water and the little butterfly maybe symbolising that there's hope yet for Cardan.
