This isn't my kind of book. I'm not fan of fantasy and mystery books and the extract didn't inspire me to give this book a go. I don't feel like I fit into the target audience for this book. It seems best suited to teenagers and young adults.
The crown on the cover reflects part of the title but I'm not sure where the water comes into it. I haven't read the book in full but I feel the cover could be more sinister.
