The wicked king is the sequel to a cruel prince, and words cannot describe the love I feel toward the book and all the characters!! The second book starts of with a bang and caught my attention on the first page. I love love love this book way more than the first!! The character development for both jude and cardan had me shocked and surprised, and the relationship between cardan and jude just kept getting better and better! The hardship which Jude goes through is just astonishing and Holly Black just kept surprising me again and again with her writing. Not only that but the world which we were introduced to in the first book was developed on so much more which made me want to join the world even more! Overall if you're a fan of fantasy then I would totally recommend this book!
