I really really liked The Cruel Prince. I fell in love with the evil fae world Holly Black built. With the bad ass characters. You still see this in The Wicked King but the plot fell a bit flat for me. The ending o The Cruel Prince had me giddy, jumping up and down so excited about that plot twist and cliffhanger.
After going into the so excited, I was a bit let down. Maybe that’s because I expected too much in my own head, maybe I hyped it up a bit too much? But I felt like apart from the ending (Holly Black is like cliffhanger Queen) not a great deal happened?
It had me a bit bored. I was just pushing through in the hopes of something huge happening and I guess it kind of did, but by the time I did
