3.5/5 -- I really enjoyed reading this series. I thought that I was going to stop after the first book, but I just had to know what happened next. This final book of the series was a wild ride from start to finish and, while I thought the ending felt a bit rushed, I really enjoyed the creative way that the author concluded the series and solved the complicated issues that encompassed each book.
I usually don't read a lot of fantasy, but I think that I will look into more of Holly Black's work as I really enjoy her writing style––it is interesting and engaging, yet I never feel bogged down by too many characters, world-building that is overly complicated, or fantasy terminology that I can never keep track of. These book may have just sparked a new love of a genre I have not really explored yet!
