Absolutely brilliant, can't wait to read the next book

I loved this book and the book before in the series, the world created is fascinating and intricate and the characters are complex but also typically angsty teenagers in a fantasy setting. The tension between the main characters and pace of the book makes it hard to put the book down, I full expect to gobble up the next book as I did with the previous two where I couldn't put them down until I was finished. The 'will they won't they' aspect of the two lead characters in particular is - while it sounds cliche - great fun, as is all the little details of the fantasy fairy world in which they interact - a sumptuous but dangerous place fraught with dangers but dripping with beautiful things and scenery, too, that are a delight to read about. I sometimes feel that the style suggests an expectation of a TV series at some point where the scenes set are almost directorial in style, but that's a very minor drawback.
