THIS SERIES WAS LACED WITH SOMETHING!
Everyone was so focused on the romance subplot that I don’t think anyone else was amazing by the actual plot. I liked how we got to engage more with the characters(well I felt like I did). Honestly this is my favorite book in the series. I liked the political views and how there were some twists that we (the readers) didn’t see coming at all. Unpopular opinion- I liked Madoc. He was a character I wish we could get a spin-off book in his Pov.
This book was full of Jude making strong decisions and gaining power, it was truly very empowering i loved it. The book shows the true depth behind the beginning of their relationship as well as the decisions she will have to make once she does become queen. When the ending came i was honestly saddened but i knew Jude would jump back and make the right decisions because she always does.
