This book brings more depth to our characters, mostly Cardan - who has become a "good guy" (or has he!?) He is such a complex character and Black has written him extremely well that I find myself completely invested in his story! Jude's feelings are blossoming for Cardan and we witness the unspoken love between the two begin to take over their heads - what else could you want!?
I'm hooked to this trilogy now and I think I may have to make these permanent fixtures to my bookshelf!
I'm moving straight onto Queen of Nothing now to find out how this trilogy ends!
