After reading the Cruel prince , I was just in shock that a book could be that addictive and well-written . I thought , I'm sure the rest of the series will be good , but I don't think it can top this. Needless to say , I was very wrong . The wicked king was fast-paced, thrilling and I adored the development of Cardan and Jude's relationship throughout the novel . And the plot twist ! I was completely shell-shocked and may or may not have damaged the paint on my wall throwing this book at it . For this book you will need to be sitting down , have plenty of tissues handy , and maybe a few pillows to scream into . If you haven't read this series , I don't know what you are doing with your life but you need to pick it up immediately . I felt very sorry for Cardan in this book when learning about his past traumas. I want to give him and Jude a big hug honestly . All in all , I loved this book , and you should definitely pick it up !
